I think I explained what I meant well. If you're using unreasonable people to calibrate your reaction to something, you're going to have a hard time staying reasonable yourself. I pointed out Bish because he was someone who isn't motivated by factionalism who thought it was enough of a problem to make a statement. It wouldn't matter if someone were annoyed by bad info about something because they like it, we shouldn't legitimize stubbornly bad info.

People just have some sort of derangement syndrome about his posts. They also claim he lied about the reasons for the tier 2 delay, but that is just based on... cboat

There both 16:9 resolutions, so wouldn't make a difference in the way your thinking. Also the less you have to scale something the better.

Nope, don't think so. At 792p there's ultimately more detail on screen, therefore slightly less blur.

CBOAT had a pretty good track record up until November. The discussion of yield issues, plus some technically issue with the Xbone he was concerned about never came to fruition. Now we have claims of party system problems, alpha texture and resolution that have all appear to be false as well.

The 72 hour ban seems rather pointless. CBOAT doesn't post that often so this seems more like a symbolic punishment than anything else.

Still, I'd give him or her another chance.

What worries me more is that some people on GAF seem to hold him in high, heroic, regard. People need to remember that these insiders and other members on GAF who work in the industry all have their own agendas. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and all the devs and publishers who post here all have an agenda.

Did we ever take in account that CBOAT may have been right when he received his info? Upon leaking the information online, Respawn and Microsoft went into a scramble to fix the backlash from online. This would explain the odd jump of 72P. It might be the limit on what the Xbox One can achieve while upping the textures and keeping a frame rate of 60FPS. Just a thought...
