Star Wars Mafia |OT| A Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

eJawa

would probably like a hook in his jaw for that matter
Gonna hop on board the Cantina Band Wagon. Me pointing it out makes it less suspicious... right?

Vote: Makai

Congrats Makai, you are now most likely a rebel! Unless I change my mind again and vote for someone else.

(please don't be a rebel)

Much like OceanicAir, I don't really see any evidence to support you being a rebel and I think accepting the Blarg challenge might have been an attempt to get a role out in the open.

You're not making a whole lot of sense Makai. If you think he's neutral, why worry that he lied to get Blarg detained instead of himself? I mean, he even explained why he did it.
How does saying "Blarg dies or I die" get people to back off of both of them? I'd find the exact quote, but I'm at work. People were suspicious of Blarg but were starting to consider other targets, and then he threw that out there. He strongly implied that he was going to die if we didn't lynch Blarg. How is this not worth lynching Palmer over?

Barrylocke, your list has makai voting twice. I am not sure which is correct but he is on there twice.

Good catch, I forgot to do a strike through. I'll also add eJawa's recent vote.

18 are alive, so 10 to lynch. Please point out if there's errors.

I am pretty that ejawa has more votes against him then I do. Traube is the only person voting for me right now.

Sorry, missed a couple of unvotes.
ejawa I had already been over again (in the post where I voted for makai I menioned him) I decided that I favoured makai over ejawa as I had a more concrete reason for voting his way.

As for my commentary on the vote, I imagine a lot of people being surprised as to who is actually leading. It's interesting how fast things happened with the Makai votes. The first one was less than 20 hours ago. I feel more comfortable with a vote on him than on Palmer or Quantam or Setre, but I want to look at it a bit more.

Over all I think rebels would be less likely to accept the challenge. If they lost and revealed their role, it would give valuable info to the hutts, even if they were just an ordinary rebel. If they lied, it could cause trust problems later on with fellow rebels. Hutts have to constantly lie about who they are, so them losing and having to lie about being an ordinary rebel, wouldn't seem that big a deal.

This is why this happened yesterday:

Chickens! Is there no one else willing to fight me and force me to Role-claim afore the suns set?

Amusing as this may be, it seems pointless for me to challenge you.

Well, before I die, I just want to share why I was confident that I would defeat Blarg. While I did read up on play theory, I just let Blarg play against an AI. I've never played Dots and Boxes before. : )

I'm going to take a guess now and say that you're the other Undercover Imperial. I feel like if you were a Hutt, your other pals would have convinced you to not take the bait. You felt like your chances of helping the Hutts were much lower now that you didn't have a partner in crime, and you figured that at least getting this bit of information for the mob could help support the greater "good" cause of eliminating the rebels.

Unless you want to make a last minute roleclaim and start saying why you shouldn't die now?

I dunno, it always comes down to "you never really know if someone's lying". If an ordinary rebel lost and claimed ordinary rebel, that doesn't prove anything. A rebel power role could have played and lost so as to claim to be an ordinary rebel instead of a power role.

That said, Maka isn't exactly putting up a great defense to having the most votes coming down to kill time.

Sorry, I've been voting for people to prod them into action, generally. I haven't gotten a strong Hutt feeling from anyone, unfortunately.
No need to apologize. It was meant as a general comment more than a slam. It just stuck out because I was using lines to show who voted for whom and when and your name looked like when you make a mistake with pen and just kind of scribble it out!

Looking back, Makai playing that game with Blarg strikes me the most. It was only in the Hutt's interest to play along with that to see what he'd say.

I'm coming around to this way of thinking, but I can't imagine anyone expected Blargonaut to role claim the way he did.

I have to go cook dinner, so I'll get my vote in now.

Sorry Makai. Your defense right now has been pretty weak (not even a "but I'm a rebel!"). Also continuing to go for Palmer when we accept (except Raindoc I guess) that a neutral role being alive is more beneficial than harmful feels off.

Cool, def a rebel then.

This is the post you were looking for:

He's trying to sneakily get someone detained, and I know via my role, that he's wrong. I have an early lose condition that will likely trigger because of him. Basically, you're going to lose him, or you're going to lose me.

I read that more as palmer thinking he'd be nk'd.

Makai, should you have any information for us thanks to you role. Please post it before you are detained. Don't be another Blarg.

Are you being serious? What in the holy fuck is wrong with people this game!? What the fuck are the hutts doing!?

Also, if this is true, lol @ Raindoc

Almost edited.

Just saw the rest of the posts. We really think it's another sarcastic suicide? What does it say about our game that it's getting to a point where the best role claim to keep yourself alive is claiming Hutt.

Eh. I'm still not sold on Quantum, and my vote probably won't matter. I just want to take one last vote before I go.

Vote: QuantumBro

... Also, out of curiosity, why the pick of OceanicAir? Just because he had a vote on him already but wasn't likely to win?

Well I'm going with my second choice after all. I can't vote for someone claiming to be hutt a third time. At least 3rd time in a row.

Vote: OceanicAir

This vote is final, even if OceanicAir comes out as a hutt too.

Well I just changed it, but I figure there's a Hutt within OceanicAir, Zippedpinhead, and Redhood56. The latter two had claimed ordinary rebel, but OceanicAir hadn't.

Now I'm just fucking around while staying within those three.
