This will be one of the meanest bait and switches ever if this ends up fake though. A game many thought was damn near impossible and now we have it coming out of the woodwork out of nowhere.

Whooie, this is gonna be brutal if it doesn't happen

Yo, question for David_hayter... these imgur upload times seem to match up to only a few minutes before you post, both times.

So... where are you finding these pictures within five minutes of them being uploaded? It looks an awful lot like you're uploading them yourself.

I mean, at this point he has to be either a genuine source for the images somehow or he's faking them I'm assuming. Question is which is it?

I've seen the Fantastic 4 poster when at the movies when it was there and the 4 didn't look like that. Could be fake but they don't look alike to me.

I don't understand how somebody can just put a pic here, saying nothing and people gets that nobody even ask for the first source.

Who the hell celebrates 'Almost 20 years?' That is some lame wording

Quick history lesson:
X-Men CotA released in 1994
Marvel Super heroes released in 1995
X-Men vs. Street Fighter released on Sep. 1996, 6-7 months after Street Fighter Alpha 2.

They're technically right about the Mahvel versus series at least :p

And yet his second post seems to imply he doesn't know for sure. He's trying to pass it off as a discovery, but that's pretty much impossible. See quote below.

I haven't seen this popping up anywhere on the internet but here, do we have a source of this popping up somehwere else on the interweb's prior to david's post?

It would be next to impossible, both times the imgur pics were uploaded less than 5 minutes before he posted, and I can't find them anywhere else. Reverse Image Search results bring nothing.

So dude is clearly uploading these himself and immediately posting them, passing them off as findings.

EDIT: I'll leave it open to y'all whether you think that means they're fake or he secretly has access to promotional materials and stills from a teaser and wants to pretend he found them.

Wouldn't 2017 be a bit too soon? Plus it'd make sense for Marvel to line this game up with the launch of Infinity War.

I'm referring to the David photos, by the way. They're probably fake anyway, so.....eh.

Watch David turn out to be a Capcom artist trying to show people's interest into MvC4 to both Capcom and Marvel.

In the end Marvel and Capcom agree to work together and greenlit the project. Resulting in us getting a "we do it" video from David telling us the whole truth, apologizing and then "please be excited"-ing us, for a possible 2019 title.

Yea, completely real. It'd be nice to see it focused like that we some neat returns like the Infinity Gems or some other stuff like Uni Power or something on that level.

It's been teased by several big FGC players, who COULD just be on the hype train with us but a couple seem to know more. Ryce is willing to talk with mods, and neither Bish nor Nirolak ate him yet. OsirisBlack basically confirmed he'd at least heard about the game. A lot of stars align between Capcom/Sony/Marvel/Disney/IronGalaxy. Akuma in SFV may have been a stealth Marvel tease depending on how you personally decode Ono's trolling. David_hayter is uploading artwork that may be fake, but may be legit, depending on your willingness to believe.

Also, the recent discussion about the game not being in development isn't totally relevant because those tweets were a bit old, and devs love to lie about unannounced games not being real.

The thing that sticks out most here is the release date. No way in hell I believe they could have a MVC4 ready in time for 2017 (if this is legit then prepare for the inevitable delay).

I mean the logo also looks shitty but that doesn't necessarily mean it's false. Could just be a shitty logo.

2017 does seem kinda early.

Doesn't seem like they would have had a lot of time to work on it currently.

IG seemed to have stopped with KI stuff awhile ago though.

Depends on when development started. We really have no way to know for sure when initial development began, or how much might be cribbed from UMvC3 as a starting point.
