I wasn't a big fan of the gen 3 pokemon but for me double battles were a huge turning point for the series.

I'm not ripping on Luigi less so than the people who try to make him out as something other than he is portrayed , He is a lovable coward with a bit of misfortune and clumsiness and who's always got his bros back, but people who like him seem to prefer to ignore that in order to make him into this awesomesauce tough dude who kicks ass and takes names. But anyways, it's unfair to compare him to dunsparce , at the end of the day luigi's every bit as good mario just with the aforementioned quirks and dunsparce is...just there.

What kind of Evil Team would you guys like to see in Gen 6?

Here's an idea I had...

Okay, so there's version exclusive Teams again, but, unlike in Gen 3, they never actually meet...each version is an alternate story where that Team is the villain, and the other team doesn't even appear.

So, one Team is called "Team Tech". They're a group of high-technical individuals who utilize the latest and greatest technology, and they hope for humanity to move on towards the future and "evolve" to the next level. The big boss is basically like Char in Gundam Zeta, he wants humanity to leave Earth.

The other Team is "Team Ancient". They're more in-touch with nature, very old-school, athletic, strong, and hard-working. They've grown sick of technology and how it's evolving, and wish that Earth could return to a simpler time.

And then there's the main issue that moves the plot...like Armageddon, a GIGANTIC METEOR is on a collision course with Earth. This Meteor is actually the egg of an alien Pokemon, whose mate landed on Earth long ago and was the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs. No one knows the Meteor is actually a Pokemon, however, but they do know it's bad.

In one version, the Meteor is emitting dangerous fumes that, if it hits Earth, will cause it to become uninhabitable to humans in a few years, which Team Tech hopes will happen so that humanity will be forced to move towards space (once again, modified Char plot).

In the other version, the Meteor is electrically charged, and will act as a giant EMP bomb that will permanently destroy technology as we know it, reverting us to a pre-Industrial era, which Team Ancient hopes will occur so that humanity will revert to a more naturalistic state.

In both versions, the Government is trying to stop the comet, while the Evil Team are sabotaging their efforts, and it's up to the players to awaken the original Meteor Pokemon that fell to Earth long ago so that it will help stop its mate before it crashes. So, this time, it's the protagonist wishing to awaken the Legendary, the Evil Team are completely unaware of it till the end.

The final confrontation in each version with the Evil Team Leader would be super-cool...you've stopped the Meteor, but they've kidnapped your sibling and fled to their secret base. The Team Tech has a base located in a small space station, whereas Team Ancient have a base thousands of miles underwater, so you fight in super-cool arenas during the final battle.

Blastoise is 5 foot 2. There is really no giant pokemon outside of the legendaries one, and even they are not big.
Moltres is only 6'07". Dragonite? 7'03

I felt like it was the other way around, personally. Double Battles seem to be the new official standard, and they do add a lot to think about when building a team. Plus there's a ton of Pokemon that seem to exist solely for Doubles and Triples who remain pretty useless in Singles.

Triples are fun, but I feel like they're still in their infancy. Opening up the pledges to more users will be a good start to that.

Double battles play out completely different to 1v1s and the pokemon who perform well in each are very different also. 3v3 did add a lot more layers of strategy but personally i didn't like what it added. 2v2 still feels like a pokemon battle but is much improved over 1v1. 3v3 feels completely different and for me not in a good way.

The answer is that the anime shows and implied way more cities and areas to the pokemon world than the limited world that Red and Blue had , as for the fish, gen 1 and the anime was more " The exact real world but with pokemon" than the later games came to be

Actually more than 11 gyms. Other 7 badges look different than original 8 badges we know.

Anime has more gyms unlike gaems.

There are also weird entries like referencing real life animals like Indian Elephants in Pokedex.
