My guess is that the third version will never be Switch exclusive, just for the fact that Game Freak doesn't like to split the userbase withing a generation. Unless there's a way to link a 3DS to a Switch.

Me personally? I want it on Switch. I've been holding out for now.

However, as everyone knows, a lot of folks get too worked up about, well, everything around here.

Hell this could be almost all Pokemon Go related.

People already said Main Pokemon games dont get announced first at E3, this is def a main Pokemon game and not Pokemon Go, its just getting announced now before E3 but will be there

Nintendo doesn't decide when Pokémon games are announced. The Pokémon Company does. And they never announced games at E3 before.

The Pokemon Company/Game Freak always do their own thing. Being separate from the Nintendo E3 conference doesn't really tells us anything.



But I believe Stars being on 3DS is a high possibility.
