Now whether this is WB's teased game is another story, but to me, the real big news is 1st, no Vita for the first time since the series began on it, BUT even more importantly, we just might be seeing our 2nd New 3DS-exclusive (as in not playable on the regular 3DS) retail game after Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

I checked the other games on the site and they do list regular 3DS and Vita so I don't think it's a typo.

I wouldn't assume that platform information from a retail listing is entirely accurate or exhaustive.

Rey's mechanical fixes would feel at home in a LEGO game !

Will wait for The Complete Sequel Trilogy xD
There are lots of LEGO movies to play in the meantime xD

What the hell are they going to put in? The rest of the saga? Rebels?
Let's no repeat another Lego Hobbit, TT or WB are jumping the gun way to goddamn fast.

For $60 it better be more than just the one movie.

Edit: Google translate:

LEGO Star Wars: The Awakening of the Force, players relive the action of the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakening, told through the intelligent and witty lens of LEGO. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridge the gap between the story of Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakening.

Its interesting how they stated they loved the Vita when interviewed for Lego Avengers and how its 'The best handheld version of any Lego game!' then in mere months announce 'Nah, we are done supporting that thing AND the original 3DS. New 3DS exclusive for the WIN GUYS :D!!!!!!!!!"

Waiting for this to be officially announced tomorrow and we get a clearer picture about everything.

I like the fact its focused on one film but I'm also interested in how they are going to structure the story; it is going to pull form the Rebels Cartoon? Or completely original content?

In The Force Awakens playset for Infinity you could swap any characters from TFA on it...heck even use characters from the original trilogy, Clone Wars and Rebels. :p

Doesn't matter. It's not going to be New Nintendo 3DS. It would be massively shocking (and stupid) to do that.

No Vita is unlikely too, as they must be successful on making games with the console to release every Lego game (handheld only or handheld version of console game) on it. So, not releasing it on Vita when its likely very easy to port over is leaving money on the table.

I guess we will learn more with the official announcement tomorrow.

They also did one movie for Lego Movie The Videogame. It was still 15 levels + prologue, and I'm sure they could stretch Force Awakens further than that quite easily.

Still, I wish they waited for Lego Star Wars IV: The Sequel Trilogy.

They finally started making the Vita versions comparable with console versions, so no Vita is really sad. Having a blast with LEGO Batman 3 Vita recently.

One thing to note is that the price of this new 3DS game is 39.99, instead of the usual 29.99. Of course price are placeholder, but the rest of them are priced based on previous versions.

Guess we'll know tomorrow. :p

Though Vita versions were still ports of the 3DS version or used that version as basis at least. So if you have a (new?) 3DS you might still get a similar experience.

I think they are making it for Vita honestly. Its easy money and from the fact we got EVERY SINGLE Lego game that released on the 3DS on Vita means its easy to port the game over to Vita with little issue.

My bet is that the Vita version is that it will get announced with the official announcement with the other versions.

Why on Earth would they not have this out in time for the movie? I was in prime impulse buy mode like a month ago.

Either they were held up making Lego Avengers or Disney told them "We will let you make a Lego Star Wars.....but you have to wait to release it; we want the most sales for our DI 3.0 Ep. VII playset and releasing Lego Ep. VII will cannibalize sales for both products."

In for a new Lego Star Wars
Disappointed that it's not the rest of Clone Wars + Rebels
Also I thought EA was the only one allowed to make Star Wars games?

Why wouldn't it be on the store then?

YES!

I been wondering why this wasn't a thing yet. So much money to make here, Disney!

Let's hope the game is just as fun as the older lego Star Wars game. Also, no VA please, it takes the charm out of the Lego games.

IMO, makes more sense just doing a lego dimensions level set for the Force Awakens. if they want to do a full fledge lego game, wait for Ep 8 & 9 to come out and do it them.
