Yes, IGN went to Playground Games and took footage of Sumo Games' 360 game. smh
Looks like a cartoon racer compared to CARS. It's still good, though.
Not mind blowing to be honest. The first one looks almost that good.
Driveclub looks better graphically.

2nd vid.
The videos in the OP show cockpit view racing in the rain.
Forza Horizon 2 will be playable on the showfloor, and it's the demo race shown in the videos posted in the OP.
I'm actually at Le Mans later in the week and hoping to have some community members get hands-on with the E3 demo there as well, anyone from GAF going to the race?
France and Italy.Any official news on what countries and cities are in the game?
looks WOW, but the change in weather looks pretty weak. its sunny, no wait, clouds condense in front of your eyes and BAM, rain!
Rain looks ok but still overall doesn't quite 'wow' in the same way that PGR4 did.
Looks stunning. Can't wait to see more.
Yea, the only thing that seemed odd. I think this might just be this demo? Each video is the exact same demo of the same race, I'm wondering if they did that on purpose in these videos just to show off the effect. Perhaps in the real game, it'll be more gradual (and realistic)? Guess more videos will help answer that.
Loving how the rain/weather works though. And accurate rainbows?? Sweet.
No night driving to be seen anywhere huh?
And whats with the opening of the doors while driving? Very cool looking, but I don't get it.
That's correct, whilst dynamic in the full game in the E3 demo build the rain starts at the same point in the race. The reasoning behind this is that people might only get one chance to try the game out on the showfloor, and we're keen for them to get a taste of the weather effects in action.
The transition to rainy weather seems rather odd. Hopefully that will improved come release day.
Hah, good point.IGN is probably in charge of what gets released and when so expect night racing 2 weeks from now.

Car poly count seems the same as FH1? Otherwise it looks awesome!
B-Roll footage up on Xbox Wire with a few second of night driving

They really drank Sony's milkshake here. Same social stuff as Drive Club, newer cars, open-world and it's coming out before DC.
